This refuge opened on August 1st 1998.
It is a traditional construction made of stone and wood, with a rustic style.
It overlooks an exceptional panorama that embraces the whole chain: from the Ferret pass to the Seigne pass.
The kitchen of the refuge proposes traditional dishes and wines of the Aosta Valley.
When the weather allows it, you can taste local specialties in the open air on wooden tables set up on the meadow below the refuge.
The bed & breakfast is located in Trient, at an altitude of 1300 metres, at the foot of two glaciers and the Col de la Forclaz.
It has a view of the famous pink church of Trient and its glacier.
Trient is located halfway between Chamonix and Martigny (17 km). Both close... and far from everything!
